Leukaemia pathway
- If you are on active treatment for leukaemia and are now 13 or more, your team will begin to discuss with you when you would prefer to move your care to UCLH.
- Sometimes you might choose to wait until you have finished the intensive part of your treatment. Sometimes some young people feel they would like to be looked after in a place more set up for teenagers and would like to move earlier.
- Your team at GOSH will talk to the team at UCLH and give them all the information about the care you have had, and any specific things that are special about you.
