Surgery in Children

The Surgery in Children Operational Delivery Network (ODN) aims to support the provision of high quality, equitable care across North Thames with surgery being provided as close to the child’s home as safely as possible.

The surgery in children ODN works with the trusts to improve the pathways for babies, children and young people requiring both elective and emergency surgery. The focus of this work is the GIRFT report which outlines recommendations and objectives for paediatric surgical care.

The aim of this course is to  provide nurses across the London region with more knowledge of the pre-assessment process.
