Clinical Trials for professionals
Patients should be offered clinical trials where they may be eligible to take part, whether interventional (involving treatment) or whether observational (sample and data collection).
Finding a trial option for your patient
The best way to find a trial option is to speak to your in-house research team who will be able to consult on the trial portfolio available locally. However, there are ways to search online too.
For trials available at the Primary Treatment Centre for the North Thames Network, please see the UCLH Trial finding tool at https://findastudy.uclh.nhs.uk/.
For trials available nationally and information about eligibility criteria, see the CRUK trial search engine at https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/find-a-clinical-trial.
For early phase clinical trials, see the ECMC trial finder at https://www.ecmcnetwork.org.uk/ec-trial-finder.
