The North Thames Paediatric Network supports its network provider hospitals and integrated care systems with planning and guidance support for Winter and capacity surges. 

This is supplementary to the local provider and ICS level escalation plans and centres largely around Paediatric Intensive Care Capacity which is a regional resource and speciality bed capacity (e.g., Paediatric Surgery, Cardiac, Oncology) which is has multi-ICS pathways. 

In addition, the Network has utilised its clinical expertise to create guidance and educational resource for staff working within the Network area.
